And we should consider every day lost on which we have not danced at least once. ~ Nietzsche

Dance for yourself. If someone understands, good. If not then no matter, go right on doing what you love.

Deceived myself into thinking these thoughts are merely a part of PMS, just to make them seem less real. Where am i gna find, wtv i’m supposed to find.
…. In heaven?
Totally taken from a scene in Pretty Little Liars. Just finished season 1 today and I CANNOT WAIT FOR S2!!! This mystery strangely relates, in more ways than i would’ve thought.
And all that i would like to say, is better left unspoken. So i stay silent.
Life’s been pretty peaceful for awhile now. I actually feel like a normal university kid nowadays, worrying about school work, struggling with time management and trying to do a million things at once just like my usual self. Basically, nothing sort of horrifying and waking up without fear each morning. The things in life we often underestimate, yknow? It’s a bliss to actually be able to feel stressed about school and not worry about unworldly thoughts that had once seem so realistic.
Oh, life treats us funny. If only we could all just, laugh it off.
Oh so commercial!
Here i am sitting in through the 9th lesson of International Economics A, my eyes constantly darting from the professor to my mac, with this sudden compulsion to put down my very unbridled thoughts into words. Thoughts about blogging trends these days:
It all started with CPM’s usual routine of browsing famous blogger sites. As well as facebook hopping and shopping sites of course. The topic of bloggers and how they are making hell lot of money (relative to the amount of work they put in) came up, as it has in the past, a couple of times.
What is it in blogs these days that people are so obsessed with? Such that one with honestly, no perspective merely plagiarism or narcissism, can get hits of up to 1000 hits a day and sponsorships of outfits every month?! Apologies for the angsty tone, its more of my astonishment really. How could anyone bear to read something that is often gibberish, barely comprehensible with the lack of a proper language and simply sounds like the narration of a very boring life made exciting with detailed explanations of the size of their blackheads. Whats worse, read it again and again everyday. Every post or at least 2/3s of it have at least 1 picture of themselves smiling into the in-built camera of their computers. Its not like it’s a picture of adam brody or emma stone, i’d stare at them all day, but really, faces i can find easily just taking a stroll downtown (maybe even at heartland malls hahahaha).
I’m not saying that all successful bloggers are like that. Some do well deserve the money earned. But as for the rest, it really makes me wonder how they are able to make money out of absolutely nothing or rather bullshit (nonsense that even i used to write on my blog out of absolute boredom) these days.
Money, being highly enticing, is tempting CPM to set up one of these pretentious blogs of her own. Being fully supportive of this effortless money-making method, i shall give a special mention to her blog http://www.chyepeiming.livejournal.com, even though i doubt this would promise much promotion for it with my lack of street cred. Proper english, a fresh perspective and meaningful photos can be expected of this blog at least.
Disclaimer: This is not a condemnation of anyone or anything. Just me expressing my thoughts and disbelief in the ways people are able to earn money these days. The internet is a VERY free world isnt it?
Verbal abuse is still abuse. It’s abuse in the form of words. They still burn, sting, hurt and put us in danger. Don’t assume that a few hurtful words won’t cost them their life. Don’t assume that just because you haven’t put one finger on them, you’re not responsible for what happens after that. Mentally and emotionally, they are bruising, bleeding, suffocating. Your words have power, be careful. Speak life and love.
